Keep Music Alive was founded by husband and wife team Vincent James & Joann Pierdomenico in the summer of 2014. Their mission is to promote the VALUE of MUSIC: For our children's education, for the many types of therapy music is being utilized for and for our overall happiness. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn how to play music and every adult needs to be reminded that its never to late to start playing.

To help support this mission, we have founded Kids Music Day and Teach Music Week. Together, we partner with hundreds of music school and retail locations in the US, Canada and beyond to bring more music to their communities and offer free lessons to new students.

Keep Music Alive was initially self-funded and received their 501c3 status in October 2017. All donations to Keep Music Alive are tax-deductible and support Kids Music Day, Teach Music Week and our ongoing donations of music instruments to schools and communities in need. Our Federal EIN Number is 82-2571853
